Have you tired of watching Netflix and making Zoom calls? Take a retreat into your history and write an autobiography for you and your family to cherish for generations. Step 1: Take out the old photos and choose ones that highlight primary times in your life. Store them in a folder on your computer. 2. Use a standard MS Word or other document to write chapters telling stories from your early and middle childhood, adolescence and teen years, and then for each major stage of your life thereafter. Place the photos in with the text. 3. Challenge a few friends to do it with you and share your weekly progress with them. You will create a beautiful telling of your story, grow deeper friendships, and you may even discover, as I did, a few hidden gems in your history that give you insight into healing anything unresolved in your past.
